For most of administrators, It's a bit hard to find proper command from the list of Brocade switch command, especially when you are doing diagnostics, you don't want to spend time on just searching proper commands. Here is a short command list for switch trouble shooting, hope it can save your time.

 portshow

     portShow  - Displays status and configuration parameters for
     ports and GbE ports. See Portshow counters explaination

     portshow -i [ index1 [-index2] [...]] [-f]
     portshow -x [hex1[-hex2] [...]]

portcfgshow

     portCfgShow - Displays port configuration settings.

     portcfgshow [option] [slot/]ge_port

porterrshow

     portErrShow - Displays a port error summary. See Porterrshow counters explaination

     porterrshow

slotstatsclear

This command clears port/slot errors, very helpful for diagnostics. You can use it to clear error counts after maintenance, or clear errors during debugging for different purpose. It's not on the help command list.

     supportSave  -  Saves RASLOG, TRACE, supportShow, core file,
     FFDC data, and other support information
